Tri-County Family Medicine Program, Inc. is a unique 18-member family practice group which includes obstetrics. The practice is located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of western New York State Our group currently operates a central office in Dansville, NY and four satellite offices in surrounding communities. Hospital care is provided at a modern 72-bed hospital and a 10-bed ortho/rehab unit adjacent to the central office in Dansville.

DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA:

Dansville is located on Route 390 approximately 50 miles south of Rochester in Livingston County. Livingston is a rural county that serves as the western gateway to the Finger Lakes Region in upstate

New York. The Finger Lakes region offers boating, fishing, swimming, soaring, airplane instruction, skiing both downhill and cross country, car racing at Watkins Glen and camping at nearby Stony Brook and Letchworth state parks. The rolling hills offer a scenic setting of small towns and easy access to Metropolitan areas such as Rochester and Buffalo.

MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide high quality, cost effective primary medical care to residents of the Tri-County Family Medicine service area consistent with the provisions of the American Academy of Family Physicians. To provide an organization capable of delivering ambulatory, in-patient and emergency care; to participate in planning for local and regional health care delivery; to participate in the education of medical students, residents and allied health care professionals; and to participate in activities deisgned to promote the general health of the area communities.
